The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) along with Stork Craft have recalled a total of 2.1 million drop-side cribs because of the safety issues. The recall includes Stork Craft drop-side cribs manufactured between January 1993 to October 2009.

According to the CPSC, the cribs models included are:

“This recall includes Stork Craft cribs with manufacturing and distribution dates between January 1993 and October 2009. This recall also includes Stork Craft cribs with the Fisher-Price logo that have manufacturing dates between October 1997 and December 2004. The Stork Craft cribs with the Fisher-Price logo were first sold in the U.S. in July 1998 and in Canada in September 1998.
The cribs were sold in various styles and finishes. The manufacture date, model number, crib name, country of origin, and the firm’s name, address, and contact information are located on the assembly instruction sheet attached to the mattress support board. The firm’s insignia “storkcraft baby” or “storkling” is inscribed on the drop-side teething rail of some cribs. In Stork Craft cribs
that contain the “Fisher-Price” logo, this logo can be found on the crib’s teething rail, in the manufacturer’s instructions, on the assembly instruction sheet attached to the mattress support board, and on the end panels of the Twinkle-Twinkle and Crystal crib models.”

The search of DJ Matthew Roberts,41, ended in a horror. DJ Matthew Roberts from Los Angeles, was adopted, and like many adopted children, he had the anxiety to discover who his biological parents are. He shocked by the news, that he was conceived by rape, and even worse news: his father is the infamous cult leader and murderer Charles Manson.

Such a discovery could be akin to discovering that your father was Hitler. DJ Matthew Roberts is the biological son of the cult leader responsible for the Tate - LaBianca murders. He's been known as a madman by many. Mansion even has a swastika tattooed above his nose and between his eyes.

DJ Matthew Roberts discovered, or rather, was told he was adopted by his sister when he was 10. It's unclear if she did so in a fit of retribution against Roberts for sibling rivalry, but it happened nonetheless. His adoptive father tried to discourage him from discovering the identity of his parents, telling him: "Nothing good will come from this."

Since then, despite the warning, DJ Matthew Roberts has searched for his parents, and found his mother, Terry, some time ago. While she initially withheld the identity of his father, she eventually broke down and told him of Manson's identity.

DJ Matthew Roberts has communicated with Manson since then, but only via letters. He has the number that he could used to call Charles Manson at San Quentin prison, but he has not used it, yet.

Unfortunately for DJ Matthew Roberts, to a casual person examining him, they might see quite a bit of resemblance between him and his insane father. Fortunately, it appears to be physical, not mental.

For example, DJ Matthew Roberts has the same sort of eye characteristics that Manson does. Manson's eyes tend to "bug out" when he is angry. As Roberts says, "If I get worked up, my eyes get really big and that's really freaked some people out before."

Emotionally, and psychologically, DJ Matthew Roberts says he's a cool person. Murder, after all, is not genetically inheritable. As he said, "I don't even kill bugs."

Will DJ Matthew Roberts try to speak to his father in the future? While he has that phone number, it's unclear. He said, "If I did talk to Charlie on the phone, I would say, 'I truly understand what it's like to be you, more than anyone could ever imagine on so many levels'.

"He's my biological father; I can't help but have some kind of emotional connection. That's the hardest thing of all, feeling love for a monster who raped my mother.

"I don't want to love him, but I don't want to hate him either."

The show is focused on finding and reuniting family members that have lost contact with each other.

The show is based on a team of researchers and the hosts Tim Green and Lisa Joyner help people searching for lost family members.

Each episode will expose the story and search for mothers, fathers, daughters and sons who have lost contact for years and are reunited again.

Viewers will learn the hidden background stories of the people who are searching for their lost relatives.

After gathering the background information, the Find My Family research begins the difficult task of searching through public archives and records to find the missing family.

Host Lisa Joyner makes the initial contact with the found family members to inform them that someone from their biological family is searching for them, while host Tim Green meets with the people who are doing the search.

Famous former NBA forward Brian Grant told Monday that he is suffering from Parkinson’s disease and is starting a new Web site devoted to his fight with the neurological disorder.

Parkinson's Disease (PD)is a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that often impairs the sufferer's motor skills, speech, and other functions
The 37-year-old Grant said that he was diagnosed in January with “young onset Parkinson’s” and felt tremors in his left hand last summer. He consulted two other well-known Parkinson’s suffers, Michael J. Fox and Muhammad Ali, and quickly implemented several lifestyle changes.
Grant played parts of 12 seasons in the NBA with Sacramento, Portland, Miami, Phoenix and the Los Angeles Lakers. He last played during the 2005-06 season, when due to chronically bad knees he has to retire. He averaged 10.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in his career.
“Brian Grant is one of the greatest team players and warriors that I have ever coached,” Miami Heat president Pat Riley said Monday night. “I’m saddened by this news. Brian will find a way to fight this because that is the way he’s always been, a fighter. He will overcome this.”
Grant, who lives in Portland, told ESPN that a combination of traditional and non-traditional treatments — such as several doses daily of vitamins, herbs, powders and cod-liver oil — have already helped some symptoms subside.
“Just me believing in a positive spirit will take me farther in the long run,” Grant said.

The trial itself was a considered a mockery of justice at the time, because the evidence actually pointed to another man who was the key witness for the prosecution.

The People vs. Leo Frank documentary premiered today on PBS and has already caused quite a controversy mainly because Leo Frank was a white Jewish man. The evidence at the time pointed to a black man, but an all-white Atlanta jury convicted Leo Frank.

A Coast Guard plane and a Marine Corps helicopter collided off the Southern California coast,San Clemente Island, missing as many as nine people said. The U.S. Coast Guard and Navy is searching

A pilot reported to saw a fireball within the vicinity of the suspected crash site, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said.

The crash was reported at 7:10 p.m., about 15 miles east off San Clemente Island, Coast Guard spokeswoman Petty Officer Allyson Conroy told.

Cpl Michael Stevens, a spokesman for the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, confirmed an AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter, belonging to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing stationed at Camp Pendleton, had gone down but he had no other information.

The Coast Guard plane was said to be a C-130, a long-range surveillance and transport, fixed wing aircraft that is used to perform a variety of missions. Seven people were on board the C-130 and two people were aboard the helicopter, Gregor said.

The Coast Guard told it had sent three cutters and diverted an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter to the area to search for the survivors, while the Navy sent four vessels and multiple helicopters.

Earlier this week, it was an AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter that collided with a UH-1 helicopter over southern Afghanistan, killing four American troops and wounding two more, a Marine spokesman said.

San Clemente Island is the southernmost one of the eight Channel Islands located 68 nautical miles west of San Diego. The Navy has owned and trained at San Clemente Island since 1934, according to the island’s Web site. Naval Air Station, North Island is responsible for the island’s administration.

''It was a very tragic accident that deeply affected the families and was very painful for all involved, including the community at large,'' Mrs. Bush's spokesman, Andrew Malcolm said earlier. ''To this day, Mrs. Bush remains unable to talk about it.''

Mrs Bush did say in March, when asked at a campaign stop about the crash, ''I know this as an adult, and even more as a parent, it was crushing ... for the family involved and for me as well.''

There had been published accounts of the accident, but city officials had declined to release the records because those involved were under 18.

As per the two-page accident report, Laura Welch was driving her Chevrolet sedan on a clear night shortly after 8 p.m. on Nov. 6, 1963, when she drove into an intersection and struck a Corvair sedan driven by 17-year-old Michael Douglas.

Although previous news accounts have reported Douglas was thrown from the car and broke his neck, those details were not in the report.

The speed of Laura Bush's car was over the limit the report says. The speed limit for the road was 55.

Laura Bush and her passenger, Judy Dykes, also 17, were taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to an accident account printed at the time in the Midland Reporter-Telegram.

The police report no charges were filed. That section of the report for charges was left blank.

Barophiles are also known as Piezophiles, this life form is found both in macro and microscopic forms . They flourish in extreme and unusually high pressure conditions. Some places you might expect to find Barophiles could be deep in the ocean beds (as deep as 10 thousand meters) and the very distant underground.

A member of the Extremophiles family, Barophiles have further been divided into three sub-categories; extreme Barophiles, Barotolerant and Barophilic. The first sub-category, extreme Barophiles, thrive optimally at pressures of 700 atmospheres (7,000 feet below the ocean surface) and more. The second, Barotolerant, have been observed to survive at 400 atmospheres (4,000 feet below). While the last classification, Barophilic, fall in between the former two and live at a pressure of 500 to 600 atmospheres (5,000 feet below the water surface).

Contrary to human beings who start facing problems at extreme pressures, Barophiles start facing similar problems in low pressure areas. Amplification in pressure usually results in a decline in volume. The first women who received the ‘Distinguishes Flying Cross’, namely Amelia Earhart disappeared while she was trying to fly around the world at the equator on 2nd July, 1937.Her q\whereabouts are uknown. However, discoveries show, that Earhart along with her navigator had to make a forced landing on the island ofNikumaroro. This is prooved by some artefacts discovered by TIGHAR. TIGHAR is ‘The International Group for Aircraft Recovery’.

TIGHAR’s executive director, Richard Gillespie, has been searching the island of Nikumaroro along with his crew. He is also the author of a book named ‘ Finding Amelia.’ The island is about 300 miles southeast of the place where Earhart was headed i.e Howland island.

According to him, there is no evidence that the plane crashed in the ocean. It is more likely that Amelia and her navigator made a landing on the island to become castaways and eventually die there. “If Amelia died onNikumaroro, her body was eaten by crabs. That’s pretty much a given.” The crabs were not ordinary crabs but known as coconut crabs. Richard says that next year he will be headed to the island on a new expedition funded by $500,000. “We know that in 1940 British Colonial Service officer Gerald Gallaghar recovered a partial skeleton of a castaway on Nikumaroro.Unfortunately, those bones have now been lost.” Records show that these bones were found in the island’s remote place. The crabs may have also eaten the plane’s wreckage but there is no evidence of that.

Vevo is the hottest search on the Web and Vevo doesn’t even have declared an official release date yet.

Searches for Vevo soared on Monday, as bloggers and tech fiends tripped over one another to find news of VEVO which is a music video service, which is expected to start by the end of the year. So far its known that Vevo was founded by Universal Music Group, and that it will run on technology provided by YouTube.

We know that Googleis the owner of YouTube, and that Vevo – by extension – has some Google connection behind it. And we know that Vevo has had no trouble attracting interest from other major labels. In June, Sony Music Entertainment entered the project, bolstering the amount of music video content that Vevo will also provide available; Warner and EMI are said to be interested.

Vevo President Rio Caraeff said that there were plenty of Vevo jobs available:

"We’re looking to hire roughly 35 at the moment, with more jobs added once the launch happens. We’re looking for people across just about every level and discipline. From ad sales, engineering and accounting to music programming, there are a number of positions that we’re looking to fill in next six months or so."

The vertically hang tube would descend towards the deep cool water from the upper warm water.
The two mixing cool and warm water will reduce surface area temperature. Salter’s design is simple, more realistic and economical.
Salter says he was inspired to invent his device after seeing the damage wrought by Katrina.

The survival of Carmina Salcido, whose father attempted to kill her when she was 3 years old. He also shot another co-worker and slashed Carmina's throat. Angel and Starlit are Jaycee's daughters, apparently fathered by Garrido, a registered sex offender who police say raped her repeatedly over the years.

Jaycee and her daughters—who had never been to school or seen a doctor—seemed to have spent much of their lives in a cluster of filthy tents and windowless shacks hidden by trees and tarps in the backyard of Garrido's home outside Antioch, Calif., where he lived with his wife, Nancy, 54, and his ailing mother. "I'm not aware of any other stranger-abduction case where a child has been recovered after 18 years," says Ernie Allen, president of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. "It's amazing and it's horrendous, but the most important thing is that Jaycee is alive."

Garrido was convicted on federal kidnapping charges and sentenced to 50 years in jail. But he served only 11 before being released. Three years later young Jaycee Dugard, wearing a pink windbreaker and white sneakers, was dragged into a gray sedan as her stepfather watched. "I heard Jaycee scream, and she was gone," he told PEOPLE in 1991.

Garrido apparently believed himself to be a powerful messenger of God and even set up a church in his basement. Aug. 25 Garrido turned up on the campus of UC Berkeley with Starlit and Angel to get a permit for an event in which he planned to spread his message. Lisa Campbell, 40, UCPD's manager of special events, saw the group and noticed the girls "were nonresponsive; they didn't have the energy that children of their age generate," she later explained. Campbell called in Ally Jacobs, a security officer, who said the girls spoke in "a monotone. It was almost like Little House on the Prairie meets robots."

Jacobs did background check on Garrido, turning up his record. She called his parole officer, and on Aug. 26 Garrido was summoned to a parole office in Concord; inexplicably he arrived with his wife, Jaycee and the girls. Accoeding to U.S. Park Police Sgt. David Schlosser, the accident took place at about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday in the southbound lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Virginia. Schlosser named the fatality as Ashley J. Roberta, 22, of Phoenix, Md.

Police said there were three people in the car, and that Roberta was not the driver. Davies and the other person in the car were taken to Washington Hospital Center Medstar, one by land and one by helicopter. Schlosser did not declared who was driving the car, and the cause of the accident remained under investigation.

At about 6:30 PM on August 10, 1990, Jennifer was found in an empty field located behind 2112 California, Dickinson, County of Galveston, Texas. Jennifer was nude and her throat had been cut. Jennifer was unable to talk when located.

The crime occurred in Dickinson, Texas, and Bradford was captured in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was charged with attempted capital murder.

Coal ash is bieng shipped from a huge spill in Tennessee to a landfill in Alabama. The TVA is shipping it faster than planned.

TVA increased shipments due to an increase in dredging operations at the Emory River near Kingston.

Initially it was estimated sending 85 rail cars per day with the coal ash, but currently that volume has increased to 110 per day. In December also about 5.4 million cubic yards of coal ash spilled out of a holding pond at their Kingston Fossil Plant.

Taliban Militant fighters slipping from an Afghan village and a mosque attacked a two remote outposts near the Pakistani border at Afganistan, eight U.S. soldiers were killed and as many as seven Afghan forces in one of the fiercest battles of the eight-year-old war.

The Taliban had claimed responsibility for the deadliest attack for coalition forces. In a similar raid on July 2008 nine American soldiers were killed in the same mountainous region known as an al-Qaeda haven. The U.S. is already planning to pull its soldiers from the isolated area to focus on Afghan populated areas.

Fighting started around dawn Saturday and continued for several hours, along with American airstrikes. Jamaludin Badar, governor of Nuristan province, told the two outposts were on a hill - one near the top and one at the foot of the slope - flanked by the village on one side and the mosque on the other.

About 300 militant fighters flooded the lower Afghan outpost, then climbed around it to reach the American station on higher ground from both directions, said Mohammad Qasim Jangulbagh, the provincial police chief.

The U.S. military statement is the Americans and Afghans repelled the attack by tribal fighters and "inflicted heavy enemy casualties."

Jangulbagh confirmed that the gunbattle included U.S. airstrikes and that 15 Afghan police were captured by the Taliban, including the local police chief and his deputy.
A Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, said a council would decide the fates of the police, confirming the capture of the two top local officers.

Badar said five or six Afghan soldiers died, as did one policeman.

Afghan forces were sent as reinforcements, but Jangulbagh said all communications to the district, Kamdesh, were severed and he had no way of knowing how they were faring Sunday. The area is just 20 miles from the Pakistani border and 150 miles from Kabul.

"This was a complex attack in a difficult area," U.S. Col. Randy George, the area commander, said in the American statement. "Both the U.S. and Afghan soldiers fought bravely together."

Fire closes Throgs Neck

Due to a blaze on a construction platform under the bridge connecting Queens to the Bronx,the Throgs Neck Bridge was closed Friday morning and is expected to be closed for hours as firefighters fought, officials said.

At about 5A.M. the fire broke out under the Queens side of the bridge, FDNY officials said. Officials first closed some lanes, but the New York State Department of Transportation said the entire bridge was closed by 6:30 a.m.

The bridge was expected to be closed at least four hours, according to the NYSDOT.

It is not clear if the fire has caused any structural damage to the bridge or if it will need repairs before it can be reopened to traffic.

The NYSDOT is recommending motorists plan on using alternate crossings Friday.

However, a scan of traffic maps shows that traffic is already at a crawl on the nearby Whitestone Bridge Friday.

Update- Nashville police have released new details about the investigation into Steve McNair's murder that show Sahel Kazemi had asked McNair for money and sent text messages about needing to be with him in the few days prior to their deaths on July 4.

Police ruled the shooting deaths a murder-suicide several days after the bodies were found at a downtown condo off Second Avenue in downtown Nashville. McNair was shot four times, and Kazemi died from a single gunshot to the head. Neither had any defensive wounds, and police believe McNair was asleep.

Investigators concluded that Kazemi, 20, was drowning in debt and despondent over realizations that McNair was dating other women leah ignagni and wasn't going to leave his wife for her.

Metro police spokesman Don Aaron declined to comment on anything contained in the 14-page report. The CBS report stated that Kazemi had more than $2,500 in the bank, contradicting the police explanation that Kazemi was distraught over money and the unraveling relationship. But text messages between the two suggest that $2,000 of that money came from McNair on the evening before his murder.

According to the summary report, Kazemi's former roommate and ex-boyfriend told investigators that Kazemi was fielding calls from bill collectors and struggling to pay the nearly $800 car note and the full $1,000 rent after the roommate moved out.

When Kazemi went with McNair to Las Vegas, friend Emily Andrews told police, she first learned that Kazemi was having financial difficulties.

"Andrews said she and another friend paid Kazemi's expenses because Kazemi had only $32," the report said.

Early in the morning on July 3, she texted McNair saying she might have a breakdown because she's so stressed. He responded, telling her everything was going to be okay.

"Baby I need to pay the cellphone bills n the hospital.can you transfer 2000 to my acc (sic)", the text message said.

Then, nine minutes later, she said she may need to go to the hospital because she can hardly breathe.

A few hours later, she told McNair she wanted to pay some bills before she went to work because they were stressing her out. He assured her he had a guy transferring the money.

Chris Wall, who provided security for McNair's family, told investigators that McNair had gotten increasingly annoyed with his relationship with Kazemi. She often called him when he was with his wife and children, according to Wall, and he was getting tired of it. He had slowed down the relationship and was seeing her less often, Wall said.

A Nashville woman named Leah Ignagni also told police she had been dating McNair and, in the weeks before his death, she had left the Lea Avenue condo and was followed home by a woman in a black Escalade.

Ignagni, who is listed on her LinkedIn profile as the senior editor of a start-up magazine called 61Five, also told police she saw the same Escalade parked outside her apartment building and circling the block on a couple other occasions.

On the night after Kazemi was arrested on a DUI charge and McNair bailed her out of jail, he went to Ignagni's apartment and spent the night.

Former NFL star Steve McNair was shot dead in his sleep last week by a 20-year-old girlfriend distraught about mounting financial problems and her belief that he was seeing someone else, police said Wednesday.

Sahel Kazemi “was spinning out of control” when she shot McNair four times as he dozed on a sofa early Saturday, then turned the gun on herself, police Chief Ronal Serpas said.

Interviews with friends while investigation revealed that Kazmi was making payments on two cars, her rent was doubling and above all she suspected the married McNair was having a second affair with another woman.

According to Serpas, She expressed to a friend on Friday that “my life is a ball of s—- and I should end it,”.

Police earlier had said McNair’s death a homicide, but further tests reveled about Kazemi’s personal problems before concluding that she pulled the trigger of a 9mm semiautomatic pistol in a condominium McNair rented with a friend.

McNair, 36, a quarterback for the Tennessee Titans most of his career, met Kazemi six months ago at a sports cafe where she was a waitress and his family often ate. She seemed happy and eager to build a life with him, but something went wrong.

“We do know that she was clearly sending a message during the last five to seven days of her life that things were going bad quickly,” Serpas said, though there was no indication she told anyone she planned to harm McNair.

Serpas said detectives learned that Kazemi recently found out about another young woman she thought McNair was romantically involved with and had even followed that woman home, though she did not confront her.

Serpas said police believe McNair was asleep when he was killed because there were no defensive wounds. After shooting McNair in the head, Kazemi apparently shot him twice in the chest before shooting him again in the head. Before shooting herself, she sat next to his body and “tried to stage it so she would fall in his lap,” Serpas said. She did, but her body slid to the floor and ended up at McNair’s feet. The gun was found underneath her.

Kazemi’s family told reporters that the woman was so confident McNair was divorcing his wife of 12 years that she was preparing to sell her furniture and move in with him.

But associate Mike Mu, who has worked with McNair’s charitable association for years, said earlier Wednesday that McNair’s wife, Mechelle McNair, “didn’t know who this girl is.” No records of divorce proceedings have surfaced. The McNairs have four children.

Two days before the shooting, police stopped Kazemi driving a sport utility vehicle that McNair had given her in May.

According to an arrest affidavit, Kazemi had bloodshot eyes and alcohol on her breath. She refused a breath test and told an officer “she was not drunk, she was high.” She was charged with DUI. McNair was with her but not charged. He made her bail.

A memorial service is set for tonight in Nashville, with the funeral Saturday in his native Mississippi.

— An Idaho woman, charged of having sex with a 14-year-old boy that she was hired to watch in August 2007 & she says she was in love with.

28-year-old Summer Nelson, of Post Falls, was charged Monday with four counts of lewd conduct with a child for which she can face up to life in prison.

Court records say Nelson was a friend of the boy's mother. Police say the abuse was reported in December 2008, after the boy's mother grew suspicious of Nelson's attention Nelson toward the boy.

Summer Nelson was hired back in August of 2007 to watch the then 14-year-old boy along with his younger brother, 12, and sister, 9. Nelson was a friend of the victim's mother spending time at the family's home.

Court documents say she was left alone with the victim and two of his younger siblings on multiple occasions.

Police say the abuse took place in 2007, but they were not told about the crime until December of 2008. After a seven-month investigation detectives found there were at least four sexual encounters that occurred between Summer Nelson and the young teen back in August of 2007.

Investigators say Nelson told the boy's siblings that she was in love with their brother. Detectives say Nelson and the boy had at least four sexual encounters.
In addition to the alleged sex, Nelson was also seen taking the boy on drives without the mother's permission and holding his hand.

"She'd be holding his hand, she'd have her hands on his side, when they'd sit together she'd have her hand on his knee, they'd sneak away together and she'd put her sole attention on the oldest child, this boy," Sergeant Dave Beck, a detective with the Post Falls Police Department, said.

Investigators say Nelson told the two other siblings that she was in love with their brother and that she couldn't understand how it was wrong for the two of them to be together. Court documents say Nelson also confessed to being "in love" with the young boy and asked his mother for her blessing so they could be "together as a couple".

Nelson remains held in Kootenai County Jail on $50,000 bond. It was not immediately known whether she had a lawyer.

Autopsy result showed that Steve McNair was shot four times, and Sahel Kazemi was shot once, but bloodstains were spread in the apartment on the bed where cops think Steve McNair was killed. The carpet in front of the bed is where police think Sahel Kazemi landed after she was shot. These blood stains can still be seen, but the belongings in the apartment were few and far between with only some liquor bottles and men’s sneakers found there.

Investigators are currently treating the scene as a murder-suicide, but they are not giving any official statement on the matter. Kazemi owned the gun used, which she bought from a private owner on the Thursday before she and McNair died.

It is a suspense that if McNair’s wife, Mechelle, knew anything about his relationship with Kazemi, and court records do not show any pending split.

McNair’s family home is up for sale for $3 million, but they were apparently just looking for a new family home together. More information is going to be available this week.

A jet trainer crashed north of Edwards Air Force Base killing an Air Force test pilot on May 21.

Captain Mark P. Graziano, 30, was piloting the T-38A Talon when he was crashed about nine miles north of the base here, near California City, Calif & died. Captain Graziano has joined the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School here, where he was getting the training to become a test pilot.

Maj. Lee V. Jones,a crew member was injured as he ejected from the crashing aircraft. He was taken to Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, Calif., where his condition is listed stable. Major Jones, a senior navigator, is also assigned to the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School, undergoing test navigator training.

"We are shocked and saddened by this sudden loss and our hearts and prayers go out to Mark's family and loved ones," said Col. Terry M. Luallen, U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School commandant. "We are doing all we can to support Mark's family during this trying time."

It was notified at approximately 1:15 p.m. yesterday at the base that a TPS aircraft had crashed near California City. Emergency responders from the base and Kern County rushed to the site where they found injured Jones near the crash site, and transported him to Kern Medical Center. Graziano was declared dead at the scene.

Investigation of the accident is to be done by a board of officers.

A tanker truck carrying more than 16 tons of hydrofluoric acid overturned early Saturday near Wind Gap, about 60 miles north of Philadelphia.

Northampton County spokesman John Conklin says the driver was treated for injuries and released. There were no other immediate reports of injuries.

Conklin says hazardous materials teams managed to stop the slowly dripping liquid. He says not enough of the chemical leaked to create a toxic cloud.

The aircraft was produced by Canada's Bombardier Aerospace, the aircraft has a carrying capacity of 78 passengers and can reach a cruise speed of650 km per hour. Its maximum operating altitude is 7,600 meters and has a maximum range of 2,390 km., Bearing registration number N200WQ, was ordered by Memphis, Tennessee-based Pinnacle Airlines Corp. in 2007 and handed over to the carrier’s Colgan Air unit on April 16 last year, according to the Ascend Online Fleets database. Colgan was operating it on behalf of Continental Airlines Inc.

Ascend told "The Q400 model has been involved in 13 previous incidents, with no fatalities".
